Dayton Oaks Families:

Thank you for all of your support with our Great Kindness Challenge last week!! It was a huge success! The students did a great job demonstrating an increase in kindness through many, many kind acts. I am so proud of everyone's efforts to ensure a kind school community. Keep the kindness going!

We have several other exciting events coming up that I would like to highlight:
Students will participating in another Cross-Age Buddies meet up on Monday, Feb. 11th. Be sure to ask your child about the buddy activity!

I will have Student Wellness resources available during the upcoming evening conferences on Feb. 14th. Stop by and see me!

I will have resources available for Mindful Writing during the upcoming Reading Night on Feb. 21st. I hope you can join us!

Lastly, volunteers are needed for our exciting all-day event JA in a Day! If you are available to volunteer on Feb. 26th, please complete the volunteer sign-up that was sent home last week or send Mrs. Dix an email: Stephanie_Dix@hcpss.org. As many of you know, this is a wonderful hands-on learning day for grades K-5 with a focus on business, economics, and entrepreneur skills. We are still in need of many more volunteers to facilitate the lessons that will be provided to you! Please reach out if you have any questions.
