Dear Dayton Oaks Families,
Happy Autumn! Our school is busy with students learning. It is amazing to see how the community building during the first couple of weeks has paid off. Relationships have been established and students are invested in their classroom communities.
It was wonderful to see so many families at back-to-school nights. We value your involvement in your child’s education and hope to see you at the many school events we have planned this year. If you would like to volunteer at Dayton Oaks please ensure you review and complete the volunteer procedures found at : https://www.hcpss.org/parents/volunteer-information/
Parents, your child’s safety is our number one priority. While we would like every child arriving to school by school bus, we understand that parents make the decision to drive their children to school. If you drive your child to DOES, please ensure you are following these important procedures in order to keep our students safe:
You may drop off your child after the bell rings at 8:50am and when staff is present.
Do not pull up in a parking space, letting your child walk across the parking lot and between vehicles.
Do not drop off your child in any area outside of the carpool lane.
Do not drive around other vehicles in the car loop and please wait to exit in order.
Thank you for your commitment to school safety. Have a great weekend!
