Dear Families!

We've recently had our first very cold day of this school year.  We wanted to make sure our families were prepared.

Please make sure the children are dressed to go outside for recess, when temperatures dip.  We monitor the weather and temperatures, including the wind chill factor.   Per school system policy 9090, children go outside to recess unless the temperature combined with wind chill is below 20 degrees.

If you are driving your child to school, please have your child ready to exit the car in the loop ready for the weather.  Depending on the wind chill in the morning, we may have fewer staff members outside to assist in the car loop.  As a reminder, our first bell is at 8:50am.
