On Thursday, May 3, eight Dayton Oaks Elementary student contest winners will travel with their families to Ocean City to present their projects at the Maryland Society for Educational Technology conference . The student winners are: Nika Sementsova (Grade 1) for her desktop publishing project, "Snow Day," Lucas Maniwang (Grade 2) for his multimedia project, "Our Country," Michelle Shah and Madison Smith (Grade 2) for their graphic art project, "Friendship Garden," Aylin Hunter (Grade 3) for her multimedia project, "Blizzards," Ryan Knopp (Grade 4) for her desktop publishing project, "The Picture," Tina Wong (Grade 5) for her graphic art project, "Crossing the Delaware," and Anaya Qian (Grade 5) for her game created in Scratch called, "What Animal Are You?" Congratulations to each of these students who used their technology skills to create a winning project in the MSET competition.
