Congratulations to the spellers in 4th and 5th grade who participated in the Dayton Oaks Spelling Bee. Fourth grader, Gideon Elliott is our winner and Charlie Yarmus is our runner-up. Gideon will go on to represent Dayton
Oaks at the Howard County Library System Spelling Bee on March 8, 2019 at 7 pm at River Hill High School.

Two students from each 4th and 5th grade homeroom participated in our School Spelling Bee on January 9, 2019 at 9:15 am in the cafetorium. The following students competed in the bee.
