Dear Dayton Oaks Families,
As we mentioned in our recent Wave Newsletter, we continue to celebrate black history throughout this month. We are proud of the many contributions all our students bring to our school, and it is important they know who they are and that they belong at Dayton Oaks. So, why is February Black History Month? Take a moment to review the following short video: Why is February Black History Month?
Thank you to all our families who conferenced with our wonderful teachers last week. Your participation and partnership is appreciated. If you were unable to attend conferences, please reach out to your child’s teacher. When we all work together we can achieve amazing things. Please take a moment to speak with your child about areas for improvement and celebrations.
